Eating disorders
Eating disorders are complex, serious illnesses that are not just a ‘fad’ or ‘phase’. They can affect a person’s physical and emotional health and threaten their life. Recovery from an eating disorder is possible with timely and appropriate eating disorder treatment.
Theta Psychology sees people of all ages experiencing a range of eating disorders. These include:
- Anorexia nervosa
- Bulimia nervosa
- Binge eating disorder
- Other specified feeding disorders or OSFED (such as atypical anorexia nervosa)
- Avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)
